How many guests can The Ivy House hold?

Our room comfortably seats 50 guests for a seated event, or hosts up to 50 for a standing reception. We're intentionally intimate — that's the point.

What is included in the rental?

Every package includes the room, tables and chairs, climate control, Wi-Fi, on-site parking, setup and breakdown time, and a walkthrough before your date. Higher tiers add linens, styling, lighting and coordination.

Question 3

Can I bring my own caterer and food?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You're welcome to bring a licensed caterer or handle food yourself. We keep a preferred vendor list if you'd like a shortcut, and there's a prep area on site.

What is your alcohol policy?

Alcohol is allowed with a licensed and insured bartender. No self-service bars, and last call is 30 minutes before your rental ends.

Question 5

How do I hold my date?

Accepted Answer

A signed agreement and a 50% retainer reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event. Dates are not held until the retainer is received.

What is your cancellation and reschedule policy?

Retainers are non-refundable, but they can be applied once to a new date within 12 months if you reschedule at least 30 days out and the date is open.

When can we get in to decorate?

Setup and breakdown time is built into every package. If you need extra access the evening before, add a load-in hour and we'll confirm availability.

Is there parking and accessibility?

Yes — on-site parking, a wheelchair-accessible entrance and accessible restroom facilities are available.

Question 9

Do you provide decor, or do I bring my own?

Both work. Our rental inventory covers linens, centerpieces, lighting and signage, and our design team can style the entire event if you'd rather hand it off.

Question 10

What isn't allowed?

Accepted Answer

No open flame outside of approved enclosed candles, no confetti or glitter, no adhesives on walls, and no smoking indoors. Damage beyond normal wear is billed after the event.
